  • Comments: I'm happy with my result from today. I would have liked to have been under 1:24 and closer to 1:23, but I know that will come. I hope my injuries are now behind me so I can have a great four weeks of training before starting my taper for the marathon.

  • Comments: I was really bummed at the lack of organization getting registered. The numbers were posted in a CORNER of the conference center - in tiny print - big log jam trying to read it. Then the porta potty line actually made us late - despite getting to the race site 45 minutes before the gun. Race organizers need to be ready if they have a registered field of 5000 runners. But I will say I loved the course. It wasn't a very nice day, so I didn't get to enjoy the scenery persay - but I bet it would have been amazing on a clear day. And the course with little rolling hills was really pleasantly easy. Loved that part.

  • Comments: Average organization - we got there early so didn't have to deal with traffic at all but heard quite a bit of grumbling about parking/traffic/etc. - the biggest challenge was the weather and I have yet to meet a race director that can affect that!

  • Comments: Scenic race caters to 10K and Half Marathon Races...Pre race and post race activities were average and the parking was a litlle disorganized..I'd consider this one an average race with great scenic flat course.

  • Comments: First half marathon, enjoyed it quite a bit. Very sore and tired after, most training runs done at 9:15+ so I did well for me.

  • Comments: I really wish (as I did last year) there were more drink stations and a little more organization. But it's a good race to do -- everybody does it, you can at least hang out in the (chaotic) ballroom before and after, and it's a good course.

  • Comments: List the finishing times by chip time PLEASE! If they expect folks to line up appropriately then knowing you won't have a finishing time/rank penalty for being in the back would help. I had a chip time faster than several folks listed as finishing before me. I know it seems silly but it does make a difference.

  • Comments: Only thing keeping it from a 5 is no beer tickets. Most races I've done they give you at least one beer ticket, this one it was a cash bar. I'm not sure I would have even wanted a beer with an 80 min drive ahead of me, but I at least like the option.

  • Comments: A little disorganized but this may be normal for a 2000 person race - I have never been in one. Overall, volunteers were great, and eveyrthing worked out well. As others have said, would be nice if finish order was based on net time rather than gun. Very annoying to see people ahead of you with slower times.

  • Comments: I didn't stop at any of the water-stations but i over heard people commenting that there wasn't any 'fuel' and that would have helped them, especially near the end. (which is why i was packing). Overall another great day with great people - even if the important one was cheering from afar.

  • Comments: This was an incredibly well run race. Nice little expo, organized start, beautiful course and tons of volunteers. Plus the finishers medal was shaped like a starfish. Does it get any better?

  • Comments: Race was very organized, lots of volunteers, crowds were great, expo looked good. The only issue I had was there was less water stations than I expected and the water tasted like they took it out of the ocean.
