Ate a bagel and peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Had 5 hrs of sleep.
Event warmup:

10' warmup on bike, 5' min warmup running, about 400 easy swimming, then about 40' relaxing and stretching.

Not bad, but I wasn't expecting my time to be that high once I finished.
What would you do differently?:

Well i wish I didnt haveto pass that many people, but zI don't want to seed myself any higher for fear of doing the same to others.

Perhaps I should practice the whole having the shoes on the bike stuff.

MAybe try a bigger gear, and drop the cadence a little.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My diaphragm wouldn't let me breathe on the run, but it did help me pace myself.

Event comments:

Real friendly people, but kind of low-budget, and I didn't like the bumpy first couple miles on bike.
