Pre-race routine:

Was planning on bringing bike down early on Friday but work was crazy so got home around 4:00 and asked the wife if she wanted to come with and get a hotel instead. Found one close so left around 6:30 and finally got bike checked and to the hotel around 9:30. Little man needed food and so did I so we ordered Pizza Hut and I shaved and got to bed around midnight. Up at 5:00 to get everything together and was to the site around 6:30. My wave was at 7:40 so drank Gatorade and slowly made the 1 mile walk to the start.
