Comments: Didn't practice unclipping/dismounting while trying to hurry. People were yelling slow down/unclip so I did too early and it was awkward trying to get off my bike. What would you do differently?: Be better hydrated and eat much more/better prior to teh race. Also drink more while riding. Transition 2
Comments: Road racing shoes take too long to get off What would you do differently?: Get tri bike shoes...have a gel ready to take with me on the run Run
Comments: First aid station the volunteer was saying water and was handing out heed or gatorade...almost choked on it since I was expecting water and not a sticky sweet drink. I felt very comfortable the whole way. What would you do differently?: Push a lot harder. My training runs were more than a minute faster per mile. Take my garmin to track my pace better. Post race
Warm down: Ate half a banana, drank some water, walked around looking for people I knew. Put all my stuff away. Ate a greasy hamburger. What limited your ability to perform faster: food/hydration prior to the race Event comments: They weren't ready to go after the swim was canceled. I expected more stuff to happen after the race.
