Swim
Comments: This was an indoor pool swim. I need to work HARDER at starting off slow and relaxed. I went out way to hard and went anerobic quickly. I had to mix in a few laps on my back to catch my wind again. After I got things normalized I went from the 12 minute mark to the end freesyling. What would you do differently?: Start more RELAXED! I have to be happy with the extra almost .25 miles over last year Transition 1
Comments: Wax paper and toe tape worked well. I should be able to tape the toe up quickly in the future. Bike
Comments: Really kicked this out well. This is where things are different from an outdoor tri as it depends on how you set the resistance. My ave speed kept going up the whole race. What would you do differently?: Make sure my MP3 player was set up to go so that I could listen to my music instead of the techno pop they were playing (I know grumpy old man) Transition 2
Comments: Switch from bike to run shoes Run
Comments: Had a couple of close calls by stubbing my toes (not getting my feet ppicked up enough). My turnover was good especially at the end What would you do differently?: Practice on a treadmill more Post race
Warm down: Stagger around and drip sweat every where I went :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: I love this race for several reasons. 1. It gives me something to shoot for in Feb. so I get my training kicked off. 2. It is a very well run race and the shwag is great. 3. With a whole wave of BT'ers how can it be anything but fun! I really enjoy getting together afterward to eat and socialize. The BT group is a great bunch of people! Last updated: 2007-02-07 12:00 AM

oatmeal and grape juice for breakfast. Had to make my usual "stop" on the way to the race site. I got there plenty early to check out if my shoes would clip into the stationary bikes and to swim a couple of warm up laps.
Spin on the bike a little and swim a couple of laps
