Comments: ended up running straight to bathroom - lake was way to nasty to pee in Took way to much time triple checking i had everything - my layout and plan was good - just to much time screwing around - i think i could get this to sub 3 mins What would you do differently?: not pee - only double check everything Bike

Comments: hill kicked my ass right away - walked most of it with attempts to run it... jogged the trails best i could, ran down the hill.. What would you do differently?: train on trails and big hills more often - lack of comfort hurt me....pace seems fast for what i was doing - i guess running down the hill bought some time Post race
Warm down: walked - grabbed some food - all the good food was long gone and the trays left were only for the half folks =( What limited your ability to perform faster: overall conditioning Event comments: My goal was to finish - which i did....COOL!! HOWEVER.....as my first TRI ever and giving my physical condition 4 months ago this ws as good as i could hope for but my crappy performance still pi$$es me off - now i motivated even more to get my $hit together and get more time in the saddle, water & trails - 3 weeks till my next sprint - here i come! Got up around 4:30 after the worst nights sleep since bring the kids home from the hospital at birth....don't get nervous typically but some kinda funkyness going on last night
Rode the bike to transition from our campsite - little under 2 miles..
Got ready, chipped etc - hung out for the next hour
