Pre-race routine:

arrived with plenty of time to organize gear, check out the waves. Felt pretty good

What would you do differently?:

did a lot of looking over my shoulder on the way in, neervous about getting swamped by the big waves. Slowed me down a lot

1st loop was great, 21mph avg., got a rear flat on 2nd loop. Tried to pump it up two seperate occasions before I just dropped and changed the stinker. Took quite a long time - frustratd and covered with grease I plowed back into the transition area
What would you do differently?:

not get a flat!!

had lots of fun, disappointed about bike leg, beat my run time from lst tri(in 2004) by over 10 minutes!
