Swim
  • 14m 45s
  • 914 meters
  • 01m 37s / 100 meters
Comments:

First 200m was good felt comfortable, then a little panic set in. I don't know why but the next 200m was a struggle. Then all of a sudden I felt really good and pushed thru the finish. I felt great after the swim. This was my best swim to date!!!
What would you do differently?:

Try not to panic in the middle.
Transition 1
  • 02m 22s
Comments:

I did not think this was bad, but I came in slower than the rest of my age group.
What would you do differently?:

Speed it up
Bike
  • 59m 2s
  • 20 miles
  • 20.33 mile/hr
Comments:

Kept speed over 20mph, but still lost 3-4 minutes on the bike. Coming back over the bridge from a standstill was tough. I was pretty happy with the bike until the state park loop. Thats when I fatigued and dropped to 18-19mph.
What would you do differently?:

Get on the bike more. Can't miss the long rides.
Transition 2
  • 01m 27s
Comments:

Not a very good Transition. I was 7/8. I tried to get feet out of shoes but could not and went down the wrong area.
What would you do differently?:

Work on getting feet out of shoes and dismounting bike
Run
  • 38m 32s
  • 4.7 miles
  • 08m 12s  min/mile
Comments:

Felt great running. Best run in any tri.
What would you do differently?:

Get faster.
Post race
Warm down:

Hurry up and clean up so that I could get back to Mobile for Jacob's party.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Need to speed the running up

Event comments:

This is a very well put together race. Team Magic did a great job. The course was on the easy side today, but it could be alot harder depending on waves/wind. GREAT RACE
