Comments:

Pretty happy with my running this is the furthest I have run yet so I was very happy to finish. I had a 10 min mile pace for about the first 8 miles then the last 2 miles really killed me.
The first 4 miles I ran straight then after that I started to run for 6 min and walk for 1. Did that up until the 9th and 10th mile then started to get away from that and walked a little more. The final mile really hurt me I totally didn't want to run anymore and walked a lot more. Tried to keep it going though and did run 5 min walk 1, run 4 min walk 2. Got close to the finish and finished the race running. Was very happy to be done!
What would you do differently?:

Train more!
Post race
Warm down:

Hung around waited for gf to finish and stretch, then went home and slept and took a really cold bath so that I wouldn't be that sore.

Event comments:

A little disappointed that they ran out of water at mile marker 6. And that they didn't have enough coins to give out at the finish and we had to email the race to say we didn't get a coin. Other than that it was a good race and well organized.
