Pre-race routine:

Early breakfast of cereal, banana, and juice. Had a balance bar on the way to the race. Arrived a bit later than I wanted to so had limited time to set up my transition zone.

By far my toughest part of any triathlon. I am just slow compared to most of the pack. Sometimes it gets to me to be passed by so many. Just need more time. Also was breathing hard from the bike and had a tough time relaxing. Although I finished in the back of the pack, it was a decent time for me.
What would you do differently?:

need more running time.

easy walk and drink to recover.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Thinking I needed to save more energy for the run, which I might have not needed. Confidence.

Event comments:

Beat last year's time by more then 4 minutes, so that is a positive.
