Practice more in open water! I was totally hyperventilating and floated on my back for most of the swim.

I was almost run over by the first wave of men returning from their bike segment, I had to dodge them coming out of T1.
What would you do differently?:

Not chat with husband, get stuff more organized! Hopefully I won't be dizzy next time after swimming.

Bike was ok, by the time I got ON my bike I had the whole course to myself (because my swim took so long, there were only 2 people behind me, and we were the last wave of the race).
What would you do differently?:

Push myself harder. There wasn't anyone to compete with so I think I just took my time.

Took too much time again chatting with husband, plus the fact I had to adjust the laces on the shoes. I FORGOT my shoes in Phoenix (?!!) so he had to run to Walmart and buy me brand new shoes while I was swimming. Ugh.
What would you do differently?:

Not forget my shoes, get quick pull laces, and just TRY to hurry.
