Swim
Comments: very last person in the water, walked out slow, still paniced after starting to swim and getting a mouth full of water, then calmed myself down and had a great swim! starting last made it hard navigating all the people. What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 1
Comments: took my time at transition, ran there and out, but took time to make sure everything was good and took a pee! What would you do differently?: hurry a little more Bike
Comments: Might have pushed a little too hard, but I did not feel like I was pushing. What would you do differently?: try to take it a little bit easier Transition 2
Comments: took my time again and also had to pee again Run
Comments: terrible run for me!!!!!! I had a goal of 9 min miles and knew that was not going to happen after the first 2 miles. The legs were dead but I was making it until the calves started to cramp bad? What would you do differently?: Take salt along for the run, bike easier and push harder on the run. Post race
Warm down: none What limited your ability to perform faster: should have trained harder, but it was my first 1/2 Event comments: made all my goals, but the run goal, good for my first at this distance, was counting on a great run but got a great swim and bike, with a terrible run???
