long walk/run up from water to transition area. lots of sticker brush. bring thongs next time and stash outside of water. Stripper was awesome getting wetsuit off. Looooong walk (400yds) with bike out of transition area

missed first turn.... went an add'l 3 miles as a result. Dropped bike computer and it busted. Shit.

pay attention to the signs on the bike...

much quicker than normal. Good transition. Still had to walk 400 yds with bike back to transition area, tho. that sucked.

better than normal... walked about 5 times... very short distances, tho. Cramp in right calf and sand in left shoe bothered me.

Event comments:

need someone to direct bikers on that first turn onto country road... a pack of us missed the turn - all leaders in sprint division. we strayed 3 miles off course (1.5 out and then back)... that meant everyone passed us... ALso, get the girl on the sprint run aide station to stand in front of her table and tell athletes they can turn around.
