Comments: First 500 meters of swim was directly into the sun. Followed the crowd and ended up missing the first turn buoy and had to go back. What would you do differently?: Not follow crowd and stop and look for buoys if necc. Transition 1

Comments: The road surfaces were not that great and this course did have a few large hills. Mostly flat/rolling. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 2
Run
Comments: My run sucked. I did not get enough nutrition on the bike and ended up relying on gatorade to get through it. Took walk breaks at every aid station and even then some. No gels on the course as advertised. What would you do differently?: Get more nutrition on bike Post race
Warm down: None What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of nutrition during the race. Event comments: Lots of people cheated on the swim by missing the first turn buoy and were never made to go back. Too bad because this was a qualifying event for nationals. The event details stated that there would be gels on the run - no gels. Post event food was not great - I was expecting Outback since that's what was served in previous years.
