What the hell? Couldn't buy my way out of T1. Helmet pieces popped off twice. Just too long in transition.

It was apparent who trains on hills and who doesn't. Probably was running low on calories by the run.

Consume calories prior to run.

OWS ability/practice, mid-race fuel, heat.

Event comments:

Need longer bike and shorter swim! Lake Murray was perfect to me.
