Swim
Comments: Water was cold but expected per race data. Easy out with few experienced open water swimmers. Many had little or no training or practice in open water. NOT SMART What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: Run to road slow. Ride was solid with plenty of opportunity to get up to speed and maintain cadence. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Without the one problem on the ride back this was a great course. This race encourages beginners and goes out of their way to help but one additional volunteer would have save some of the racers some time. Too many first or second timers who went unprepared may have missed the turn and had to back track some. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 2
Comments: Fast Transition - Lots of room in transition area to move around What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Had a great run. Easy to follow course and perfect weather. What would you do differently?: Run Faster Post race
Warm down: Strethed, relaxed, ate and drank slow. What limited your ability to perform faster: Too many racers that made little or no real race preparation. It seems as if some athletes go to races expecting to have their hand held. Event comments: Great pre-race communication by the race director. Best small town race without public assistance I have been to. Really racer friendly. Last updated: 2007-06-16 12:00 AM
