Comments: Good run. First race following the Honolulu Marathon on Dec 10. Found a group to pace with for a couple of miles. Good pace overall. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Walked and stretched. Sat and cooled down with water, ate a banana and some sweet bread. What limited your ability to perform faster: A little more structured training for speed. Event comments: A fun run! Good crowd. Was a timing chip race, but still stage yourself towards the faster end of your expected pace. Many tour groups walk/run this race and they do clog the start. Rode the bus from the finish to the race start. Just chilled out enjoying the crowd. Relaxed. Ate a power bar and drank a bottle of water about 30 mins prior to the start.
Stretched for 15 minutes and did some light jogging.
