Comments: I think I am still a bit tired from the race this past weekend and the track workout a bit last night. Walked for a minute around 2.3 miles dumped water on my head at the mile 2 water stop and still managed to PR. What would you do differently?: Get up on time and eat something. Post race
Warm down: Walked around talked to fellow running group members. Enjoyed the cold water and a slice of cold watermelon. Event comments: 4th year in a row I ran this race. It's usually hot and humid, today was a bit overcast, but the humidity was thick. It's a nice morning race to run on the holiday and then head on home to fire up the grill and start cooking some delicious Q that will be enjoyed later in the day. Last updated: 2007-07-04 12:00 AM
