Felt very comfortable on the swim. The water was perfect. No waves.

Comments:

It is about a 1/4 mile run from the end of the swim to transition and it is in the sand. I wanted to make sure that my heartrate didn't shoot up too high before I got on the bike.

There was hardly any wind on the course today. I tried to keep my heartrate under 172 for most of the ride. I felt pretty comfortable for the whole ride. I even picked it up during the last 2 miles and was able to negative split the ride by almost 2 minutes.

What would you do differently?:

I could have pushed a little harder earlier on. I may have waited a little bit too long to pick up the pace.
