Swim
Comments: I think i'm actually not a bad swimmer! I was relaxed the whole time, just keep plugging away, didn't sprint at the beginning, which meant I past quite a few in the second 600-800 meters. What would you do differently?: warm-up. Transition 1
What would you do differently?: nothing. Bike
Comments: I stuck with the same pace 18-19, which helped motivate me. What would you do differently?: Train more. Lift weights. Transition 2
Comments: I may consider using Sals Bike with cages next time to keep my running shoes on. What would you do differently?: PUT MY ASHTMA INHALER OUT! Run
Comments: I did better on the run than the June Lake. I did some intervals, and because of not having an inhaler for my allergies, I just keep the mantra "Nice and Easy" through the whole 5k. What would you do differently?: Asthma. Course work on running faster. Take an alevert before the race. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Asthma. Event comments: The "feel" of the race was very supportive, not aggressively competitive. It was about fun, fitness, and comradery which helped me tremendously in not getting stressed, and doing better in the long run than my previous tri. Last updated: 2007-08-01 12:00 AM

Packed the night before. Slept about 7 hours. Had dinner with Bonnie's friend.
Treaded water until the start count down.
