Pre-race routine:

Slept at sister's house. A little restless... not the best sleep. Woke up early and got everyone else up. Grabbed a breakfast bar, drinks (water and gatorade) and 2 gels. Up and out the door to the Metro.
Event warmup:

Walked around and stretched. It was a bit cool but not cold. Waited in the LONG bathroom line.

Comments:

Started melting into the race. Felt light headed the last few miles. Ended up with 4 Glucose tablets and drinking my 2 hydration bottles. Needed more.
What would you do differently?:

Take liquid from the very first table.
Post race
Warm down:

went to the medical tent, was dehydrated. They gave me two bananas and water bottles. Also cooled me down with ice. Real hot day!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of enough hydration

Event comments:

Water station #6 (mile) ran out of water. The other table after that seemed to have limited water. Not good for us runners at the end of the race.
