2 bananas, water, and a drive to uptown.....
Event warmup:

Stretched, did a few light run laps to warm up the muscles.

Comments:

Ran great 1st half, was doing really well. Got a stitch half way into the race right before I got to the first water station... Stitch stayed with me the rest of the race. Didn't really go completely away until like an hour after we got home. Was pretty rough. But I ran through it and finished. Hydrated heavy the day and night before, not sure what happened.
What would you do differently?:

Stetch a little more, perhaps a short pre-run before the run next time.

Stretched out, warmed down, and drove home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Having the stitch, and needing to train distance more.

Event comments:

Was a great race with food and drink after. Will run it next year for sure!

Course: First half of the run was down hill, nice slow grade. Bad news, the second half of the grade was back up the hill, nice long, slow grade.... Over-all it was a goos course. Just wish I was more in shape for it.
