Comments: Legs were really hurting starting at the 7m mark. Ran through the pain, although it got worse & worse. I am very happy about this time, especially since this is my first half marathon and I haven't been doing many long runs! :-) What would you do differently?: Train more (miles) Post race
Warm down: crouched over for about a minute, got medal, drank a water. Got bag, ate pretzel and drank an accelerade. What limited your ability to perform faster: sore legs, high heart rate. Woke at 4am, had 16oz gatorade, bowl of oatmeal with raisins & honey. Drove up to Woodcrest Station with John to take train into PHL. Met Harry & Dale there. Doug got on in Collingswood. Ted & Daleen drove, as did Kim, Ken, Jeff, and Mike B.
Slow jog to bag drop off. Ate half banana, and little water. 20 min before gun, took 2 servings Hammer Gel with 5 drops liquid creatine, 2 endurolytes, and water.
