Comments: Was a decent swim I wanted to be out of the water in 10 minutes so I was ahead of that prjoected time so I was happy with that What would you do differently?: not to much Transition 1
Comments: was worried about ripping my wetsuit if I pushed down with one foot and pulled with the other since the whole T1 was a rock and gavels parking lot What would you do differently?: not to much Bike
Comments: this is what killed my race, I found out that hills and I dont mix lol or at least not yet anyway. It was a tough course I thought the hills around here would be enough but not even close. So with the hills and wind and being undertrained on the bike this ruined my race =/ but it was my own fault. So I know what I need to start working on more so time to get to it What would you do differently?: train for the bike a lot lot lot more Transition 2
Comments: pretty quick in and out didnt have locking laces so I had to tie them so that might have cost about 10-15 seconds What would you do differently?: nadda Run
Comments: um yeah the hill at the start was huge I got about 3/4 of the way up and walked for about 3 seconds then continued on my way. It was tough on the way out but pretty easy on the way back so that was nice What would you do differently?: more speed work with running Post race
Warm down: ate an apple drank some water and walked around and stretched What limited your ability to perform faster: non consistant workouts my own fault Event comments: My first year doing this race and I will be doing it again and prepare enough so I can place well next year. Woke up early tried eating some of a bagel but just was not hungry and had part of a snickers marathon bar
I jumped in the water to get a feel for it did a few out and back laps to a swim platform
