Swim
Comments: I just took er easy the whole way. Moderate pace was the best way to describe it. Haven't swam without a wetsuit in a race since May so didn't want to smoke myself. What would you do differently?: Got faster! Transition 1
Comments: Time for T1 is approximate as the overall swim time was 10:58. That includes the run from the pool to bike, and hopping on. What would you do differently?: Not a whole like. I'd like to know actual T1 time rather than an estimate. Bike
Comments: I knew I'd have a tail wind going out so I hammered it pretty hard. It took me till mi 6 to pass all of the folks that beat me out of the pool. I never looked back and pushed hard into the wind on the way home. What would you do differently?: Since the race was draft legal I'd have like to have had a drafting partner coming back into the wind. Transition 2
Comments: This is an estimated time as T2 is rolled into a 36:32 bike split time. What would you do differently?: Went pretty well. Run
Comments: Since running Moo a couple weeks ago I have done no running outside zone 2 so I didn't really know what to expect. I gave 'er as much as I could and held off most everybody. What would you do differently?: Run faster! Post race
Warm down: Nearly puked. I finished 2:30 faster than when I did this exact race in May so I'm pretty stoked about what IM training has done for me. Yahoo! What limited your ability to perform faster: Moo Event comments: Nice fall race. Low number of participants and a low key environment. Last updated: 2007-09-22 12:00 AM

Got there early and got a nice spot to rack. Fraternized with the eventual women's winner. Finished hydrating, hit the biff and headed to the pre-race mtg.
Bike drafting is allowed!
100 yds of swimming to make sure the goggles were on tight. Got to meet my lane-mate. Thought I was going to have 3 mates, but ended up having just one. Sweet!
