Swim
Comments: I was crooked all over the place. i didn't warm up at all in the water so my sholders were soar the whole time. the water was pretty cold. i had a hard time breathing cause i had to keep looking up and spotting the boey. What would you do differently?: keep working on swimming straight and fast. Transition 1
Comments: there was a huge ramp that took you from the dock to the shore and it was really steep. After I topped the ramp i still had to go a waise up the hill. by the top of the hill, which was really steep, i was out of breath and my heart was racing. What would you do differently?: Not race hickory knob. but other than that, put more suit juice on my ankles cause the suit got stuck on my heels and i had to sit down. Bike
Comments: I just don't have power on the bike. i can scoot up hills but then i get passed on the way down the other side. Transition 2
Comments: I decided to wear socks this time to prevent blisters so it took longer for me to transition. Run
Comments: I cramped up on the top of my foot within the first mile and i tried to stop and stretch it but it sucked really bad so i just kept going. the hills were really steep and hurt. What would you do differently?: i need to work on picking up my pace. Post race
Warm down: i walked around. Event comments: The volunteers were very rude to us at packet pickup. one threatened to kick me out of the race because they didn't like that i asked alot of questions. they were short and triet from the get-go. The refreshments afterwards were miserable as well. all they had were goldfish and chex mix and oreos. no fruits or bananas. it was disappointing. the awards for the winners were more race t-shirts. how shitty is that.
