Comments: i tried to start to the outside and get out of the way but it didnt last long . i hated to do it but had to go over the top of one guy he way zig-zaging in front of me and way throwing me way off . it was ok till about the end then started eating water had to regroup a couple times . i still not sure how they timed it cause it sure felt longer then it says What would you do differently?: should have went to trivillage and got a clear pair of goggles it was still dark at start not worn my wet suit got a little warm Transition 1
Comments: had a faster t1 then i was expecting but the body glide worked well it was the first time i used it with my suit What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: course was fast but doing the huge bridge 4 times slowed things down to 12mpr on the climb . the second bridge was rough real rough people was losing gear all over it things were flying off peoples bike . but after them things were fast . had 3 U turns but got through them pretty good would have like to do it a bit faster i know i could have What would you do differently?: get it on !! found i was riding during the first lap . i recovered real quick from the swim and t1 but felt like i was just going through the motions for about the first 6 miles when i should have been in race mode Transition 2
Comments: i was fast here but i had a great spot things went just how i wanted . but had a little run to get out of t2 i was close to the in/out of bike but on the other side of out on run . but it didnt bother me it let the legs start to come around before i hit the run course What would you do differently?: nothing well ok i should have taken my shirt off and left it . i knew the run was gonna be HOT and it was . Comments: was ont expecting the trails but seemed to have a good run finished the vitargo comming into t2 so didnt need to mess with any other fuel for the run . it got packed on the second lap cause at the turn caught a huge group of runners from the sprint . and had to work around them . my ass was sore from the bike first time it ever has been made the first 3 mile rough to get things moving What would you do differently?: not much i could have done but stripped down i wanted that top off from the start but used the water stations to at least keep it soaked . and if i was not so hard headed i would have like some socks cause feet were wet and the dirt caused some blisters and raw spots but i would do it all the same Post race

got in a quick stretch and downed a bottle on vitargo spent to much time in the transition checking things over felt like i was missing something . my mind was going crazy .
not to much should have got in the water but just ran out of time
