Pre-race routine:

Got up at 4:20, heated up an english muffin with 1 fried egg which I ate in the car, half a snapple iced tea. Got there with plenty of time to set up. I elected not to use my wetsuit which ended up being fine because the water was warm.

Water was a good temperature, no suit, wade out and tread water for a minute or so before the start, I swam a bit off course and that cost me some time

Getting complacent in my training, partying like a rock star most of the week before the race, also not doing enough brick workouts.
