Swim
Comments: Chips were attached with neoprene straps and velcro. I felt the end of the strap flopping around almost immediately and was certain it would come off. I stopped at one point, reached back and contemplated snatching it off and holding it. I was hesitant to kick too hard for the remainder of the swim. It really threw off my rhythm.. What would you do differently?: Make sure wet suit is over chip/ strap. Transition 1
Comments: Struggled somewhat getting clipped in. Not sure why. What would you do differently?: Pushed a little harder. Bike
Comments: I thought my computer battery was dead, but the transmitter on the fork was too far from the wheel. Had no data during ride. Thought I was faster than I was. What would you do differently?: Make sure computer is working. Transition 2

Comments: Stomach was bothering me somewhat and heat was a factor. What would you do differently?: Note to self: Pre-race meal of Burrito Supreme bad idea. Stomach issues compounded by ingestion of bay water wreaked havoc. Did have a great burst last several hundred yards passing several runners who had just passed me. Not sure where it came from. Post race

Got up at 3:30 had 2 packs of oatmeal/ coffee. Had coffee on the way. Ate banana and gel shortly before start.
