Run
Comments: Well Trixie and I had planned to either try to bust out some 7s or just have fun and be goofy. She said we ran a 7:40 first mile then a 6:30 second mile, or something, and when we got to mile 3 I could feel the Jameson starting to try to escape. I guess I shouldn't have gone to the bar after eating a pound of beef with the crew the previous evening. At the end, Trixie wheelbarrowed it across the finish line. The finisher's photos make me laugh out loud and snerk and such. What would you do differently?: Not drank as much Jameson the night before, slept more than five hours, ate something before the race. But really, it's only five miles so I should've just sucked it up!!! Post race
Warm down: None. What limited your ability to perform faster: The gallon of Irish whiskey ruminatin' in mah bellay! Event comments: Trixie had to wait for me a lot. Sorry about that dollface. Next time I promise to be in before lights-out. Last updated: 2008-04-03 12:00 AM

Trixie and TriOK (hottest tri girls ever) showed up at the love shack for a little pre-race `routining' if you know what I'm saying. OK not really but a guy can dream, right? So we walked over the race and waited for Whizzz, who we thought was late. So we all stripped down to our race gear and checked our bags and made our way toward the starting corrals only to find out the race started at 9:30 a.m., not 9 a.m., so we stood around freezing our asses off for the next 30 mintues. WHizzz showed up as did a couple other BTers. FINALLY we made our way to the starting corrals.
Huddled for warmth. Took pictures.
