Pre-race routine:

Arrived 5:30AM. Long walk to transition area. Immediately took bike to bike guys for air check. Performed bike equipment set up and check. Began setting up transition area. Chatted lightly w/ other participants, greeted friends, checked on Beth. Used restroom. Donned wetsuit. Pre-race prayer w/ club and friends. Final transition area check, put goggles on so I could see to walk to water. Grabbed cap and headed down 20 minutes early in order to be in the front of my wave.

Ran down to shoreline and back and transition routes.

Best swim yet! Stayed fairly relaxed. Breast stroked minimally. No one to draft off of. Breaststroked a few times to get barings or avoid people.
What would you do differently?:

Site better. Swim maybe a little harder. Never breaststroke.

Day St hill fine but crowded. People slow, almost had to unclip.

Push a little harder. Drink more and while pedaling. Need road or tri bike!
