Comments: Course was pretty simple, but I think just a little long. This was kind of unusually long. Talk with a couple other people randomly that raced afterwards - and they all said their times were long. Might of had something to do with the current. What would you do differently?: Little faster? Little harder? Transition 1
Comments: Came right out of the water and my bike was a couple yards away. The short run to my bike must have not given me enough time to adjust. Right when I bent over to take off my suit - I felt like I was inside a washing machine. Got really really dizzy - so I stood up real quick, and then sat down. Took a few seconds, then just carried on slowly. What would you do differently?: Ohh... not too sure... not bent over? Bike
Comments: Probably could of gone a bit harder. Coming in and out of transition with my shoes on took a lot of time. What would you do differently?: Gone a bit harder. Didn't really train that much on the bike - So I'm happy with how I did. Transition 2
Comments: Shoes (clopping) took a bit of time. Run
Comments: First mile came in at 8:00, then I slowed as the heat took its toll. Last bit of the course was on blacktop. Happy with my performance though since I didn't do much speed training at all in preparation for this. What would you do differently?: Trained? Post race
Warm down: Ate a Mojo bar. Drank lots of water What limited your ability to perform faster: No speed-specific training. Event comments: Great race - nice course, and lots of nice people.
