Event warmup:

Walked around, saw a few Sally, Jen, Josh, and some RW people.

Comments:

1st 8 miles felt great, abdominal pain hit me like bricks.... although I continued drinking my infinit and through every aid station, I was becomming increasingly dehydrated.
What would you do differently?:

don't eat anything different before the race.... stick with my homemade pasta

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Event comments:

I met Frank Shorter, Bart Yasso, and Dean Karnazes at the expo!! I had fun up 'till mile 13 or so, but the FE with the RW people, Tanya and Faeron was awesome!!! While waiting for my mom to come in, the announcer announced at aound the 5:30 range, that a elite woman was about to cross the finish line, and something went terribly wrong. My race was bad, but it was humbly, it could have been MUCH worse.

Course: beautiful!! loved the course. Harder than P.F. Changs in my opinion. High humidity, my sweat would not evaporate! Started at Balboa Park, and ended in a Marine base.
