Comments:

Glad I trained a lot on hills.
What would you do differently?:

Probably have a little more faith in my training and hit it harder at the beginning. My pace was much too conservative. I finished strong - the second half of the race being significantly faster than than the first. In retrospect, I could have aimed for a slightly faster finishing time.

Warm down:

Walk, stretch, walk, stretch, ate banana, cytomax and some bread at end of race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

A few bottle necks on the hills and on the bridge definately slowed down my overall pace. There were way too many walkers on the hills and they didn't bother to move to the side and let the runners go by. Definately set a faster pace at the beginning - now that I know what I'm working with, I'll make appropriate adjustments for my next HM.

Event comments:

Well-run race. I would recommend this race to anyone considering entering it in the future.
