Comments:

Due to construction (I think) they had to extend the course from 5 miles to 5.25. Not a big deal, since they did a good job of communicating that ahead of time. But some of the volunteers were shouting WAY too early to kick it and we only had a few hundred yards to go...which was false. So I pushed it too hard with too much left to finish. Good thing was that I took it easy for most of the race and just settled into a comfortable pace.
What would you do differently?:

Drink more water, as usual.

Cooler weather

I do this race every year and would recommend it to anyone.
