Pre-race routine:

had a powerbar and some gatorade, set up my area in transition and was wiht my family until they closed the trnasition area

I could nto get my pace right - felt like I was sinking if I did not go faster then I wnated to , and as a result spent alot of time on my back. The real crappy parts was I lost my weddign ring with 50 yards to go!

Train more in open water swim

First hill was bad, but once I got onthe main road it went well. Noce course, hills just logn enough to make you work, but not kill you.

More swim/bike bricks, train on hills.

Thsi was my 3rd tri, and once againmy goal was to finish. I need to bump my training up a few notches, not necessairly for a podium finish but to do better overall.
