Comments: Race number pinned through front and back of jersey - had to repin (twice) during T-1. Race belt or pre-wearing jersey would have saved time. What would you do differently?: Wear race belt. No gloves. No socks. Bike
Comments: Stomache issues plagued middle of bike segment. Started very strong, finished pretty good. What would you do differently?: Eat later. Drink more water / less Gatorade (or delay gatorade until second hour.) Transition 2
Comments: Tried to relax during T-2 - stretch and prepare for run - didn't want to over-rush. What would you do differently?: Not eat gels. Made my stomach unstable. Should try fruit only. Run
Comments: The run was shortened due to lightning. Actual run time was 1:50:08 over an approximate 11 miles - which was extrapolated to 2:09:58. First half of run was plagued by stomach problems - last half was very strong and I would have had a much better split. What would you do differently?: No gels during T-2. Slowly eat fruit during run (grapes, apple slices) Post race
