Woke up and had some coffee and a roll - no peanut butter

Overall, the water was a bit cold and the current was pushing out to the right so I had to stay to the left.
What would you do differently?:

Train more. I did not train as much as I should have so had some difficulty in sighting and getting into a rhythm. Goggles should have been on tighter

Felt ok getting off of the bike but definately fatigued - I thought it was rather humid.

Run faster!

not enough training

Event comments:

Overall the race needs to be planned better, even the swim. Looked alot longer than 1/2 mile. Not enough food afterward and overall course layout wasn't great. Wider paths for running (on the road) and people should not be allowed in transition area or on course while the race is on

Course: Alot of pot holes and bums so it was a little bit hairy as my bike is old and felt at one time it would crack in half but slight inclines and overall flat

Course: flat and somewhat narrow - running on the sidewalk was a bad move for the this course. It should have been out on the road - additionally part of the course wasn't blocked off and the people who finished before me were waslking back to their cars along the course.
