Pretty good swim, just tough to navigate through all the people in the pool. Some I had to swim around others I had to swim under becasue of others passing in the opposite direction. I was really pleased with my time I did plan no it taking another minute or two so that was good. I did take a butt to the face, however it was a small one and she was cute so it really wasn't all bad. Only got kicked once witch was good considering all the people in the water
What would you do differently?:

I should have estimated my time alittle better to have gotton a better start position I guess. Other than that it was a pretty good swim compaired to my last.

Overall pretty quick transition. My watch sucks I thought I hit the button each start and stop but I was wrong! I want to make sure I get my feet as dry as possible before getting in my shoes, I bike and run in the same shoes.
What would you do differently?:

No major things stand out to me, It went pretty smooth I guess I should practice a little but I walked the route from the pool to my spot so I could have in my mind what is was going to look like. I placed everything in order as I would need it and I would say it went well.

I used a road bike the last time I was on this course and now not having that 3rd chain ring it was pretty tough. I walk away knowing that I need to work on hills with my bike and I am always glad to walk away with learning, what I need to work on.
I think I hydrated well. I didn't ever feel real thursty I guess nothing out of the ordinary.
What would you do differently?:

Practice some more hills on my bike. My tires were a little low but that wasn't what costed me time. I was just out of gas at the top of a couple of those hills!

Again I wish I had my watch keep track better but I don't
Went pretty well, my legs were pretty tired and felt alittle weird when I hit the ground.

What would you do differently?:

This went pretty smooth also, again I walked it to see what it was going to look like and it went pretty well.

I should place a beach towel or something down to put my helmet goggles and stuff on so they don't get scratched up.

Pretty good run I just kept looking for someone in front of me to pass and then focused on the next one ahead of me untill the end. It was nice to see the finish line
What would you do differently?:

I could have left a little more on on the course I guess.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked did some simple streaching. Started to rehydrate myself and walked around for a few minutes

I had to laugh they served glased donuts and bannans after the race!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My bike segment!

I need some longer hill work and work on building my Lactic Threshold so my run segment could have been alittle better also.

Event comments:

This was absolulty a blast, wish anyone who reads this could have been there. It was great time. I wrote in my training log about a guy who I met, I guess it may sound like a Halmark card but it's worth a read if you have 2 minutes!

Course: It was not a hard running course, rather enjoyable I guess. Pretty good surface, grass and fine gravel. Very few pot holes to watch for. Rolling hills not hard. There is a small creek to jump over and a kind of slick hill to get up and down which is a little tricky.
