  • Comments: savannah won the 14 under age group as a 9 year old. I just did the race to be along side her because it was her first race. She did everything from tranistion to racking her bike. She did a great job!

  • Comments: This was absolulty a blast, wish anyone who reads this could have been there. It was great time. I wrote in my training log about a guy who I met, I guess it may sound like a Halmark card but it's worth a read if you have 2 minutes!

  • Comments: met up with patrick "devilwillride" before and after the race. my wife kristy ran in this one for her first triathlon. she finished in 1:27:24. she was really excited about participating after having watched some of th IMKY the weekend before. fun race, but i should have turned up the run a little... a mere 20 sec would have put in me 3rd for my age group, 1:55 would have put me in 2nd AG..... shouldn't have walked though the water stop / up the hill !! oh well, it was fun.

  • Comments: This is a very small local race, around 170 people. The packet pick-up was extremely disorganized. They had a couple different lines for people who pre-registered, needed to register, USAT, Non-USAT without any signs indicating which line was which. Otherwise, the race was well run for a small scale local race. Fun race, challenging course, and would definitely do it again.
