Hard to see where I was going.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really. Can't see how I can change the conditions of the water.

Water bottle flew out of cage in first 2 miles. Had to stop for water on the course. Ended up losing division by 30 sec. b/c of it.
What would you do differently?:

Get new water bottle cage. Bring extra water bottles on bike.

Accidentally left helmet on. Had to go back to racking area and put it back. Otherwise, great job. Lock laces made a big difference.

Slow my mind down so that I don't overlook something as obvious as taking my helmet off.

Hard run! Not in shape for the 5K after the 18+ mi bike. Was uphill for first half. Very tough.

Train more.

Need more training. Water bottle cage was a problem.

Event comments:

Race was a blast. Course was beautiful. Great competitors. Beer and food afterwards. Won my first award!
