Comments:

The waves were too big and they went off too close together. Water was fine, comfortable, close to transition area. Overall fine location, just too many people at once and many women caught the men by the first bouy.
What would you do differently?:

Get out in front faster.

I was disappointed in my bike time. I had done the course faster training...so a disappointing bike. But, it was a hard course and I felt like I was pushing myself during the ride.
What would you do differently?:

More time on the bike training. More long rides before the race.

Ok run. I wanted to come in under a 9 minute pace and I did.
What would you do differently?:

Longer runs to train. Still taking it easy from a hamstring injury in the Spring...so not many long runs and only a few bike to run practice runs.

Good, local race for all levels. Comfortable for beginners. But a challenging course too. Beneficial local fundraising event too.
