Stretches and a brief bike to transition
Swim
  • 15m 2s
  • 600 yards
  • 02m 31s / 100 yards
Comments:

Swim felt smooth but time was horrible....drafted well, felt comfortable, but again was all over the place

What would you do differently?:

TRAIN...TRAIN...TRAIN
Everyones time seemed slower so maybe the distance was off because I really felt OK on this compared to the last race
Transition 1
  • 01m 47s
Comments:

Seemed to go well...tried the shoes already on the bike thing and it worked alright.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing...good time considering wetsuit
Bike
  • 41m 3s
  • 13 miles
  • 19.00 mile/hr
Comments:

Whole tempo seemed to go well...need more work. The thighs were screaming at first from yesterdays race but then finally warmed up.
What would you do differently?:

Need to work more on the bike but at this time it was all I have
Transition 2
  • 02m 11s
Comments:

Here is the only glitch in the race for me...it was minor. About 150 yards from the transition, as I was trying to remove my shoes for the dismount I hit a hole and my Aeroflite water bottle went flying. I continued to cruise into transition, threw my shoes on and ran backwards to retrieve as I did not want a penalty. Everyone was trying to let me know I was going the wrong way, but back I went. It was retrieved by a bystander and the others let me know they would put it on my bike. So I lost about a minute, but no big deal. And I did retrieve it later.

What would you do differently?:

Not lose the bottle
Run
  • 25m 8s
  • 3 miles
  • 08m 23s  min/mile
Comments:

Tuxedo Brothers had a glitch with its timing device for the final run. The rankings 129/226 and 15th ag did not include this run. I passed alot in my AG and felt awesome on the run, but had several ladies and youngsters pass me so it probably evened out
What would you do differently?:

Best run to date at the end of tri
Post race
Warm down:

Little..alot of talking to friends and teammates

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Really nothing, just need more training

Event comments:

No problem with timing issue...Tuxedo Brothers always does a great job and this one problem is rare...it must have taken a holiday
