  • Comments: This is a great race. Honestly, my age group is very very competitive locally. Seriously, 6 of the top 12 were all in my all in my age group and 5 of us were all within 2 min of each other! Great experience.

  • Comments: RD (TuxBro) deserves HUGE thanks for getting event site ready after severe thunderstorms moved through area just 2-3hrs pre-race. Late start was due to some lifeguards/boats not ready yet after those storms. I'm sure some volunteers did not show due to the weather. But race went off very well overall. Personally- Bad swim, good ride, meh run. Prob decent result for 1st tri of the yr after doing late April marathon.

  • Comments: The timing issue stunk. I wish I would have put my Garmin on. Oh well. I had my stop watch and my powertap so I was able to figure out what my times were. What's listed here is what was on the website. As usual, great race, great friends at race. Always enjoy doing it.

  • Comments: The whole timing snafu really sucked. The website is not accurate at all and that honks me off. I got 5th in my age group, which I got a prize for, but then the results on the website don't reflect that at all. It has my swim and run times all screwed up. Also, the swim course was WAY longer than 600 yds. I went ahead and upped my swim yardage based on what I know I swim that distance in. Anyway, I still love the venue, love the comrade, and will be back next year!

  • Comments: I really liked this race. Not a huge amount of people, ~300 or so. No kids. That was nice. Nice venue. I would like to do this race again.

  • Comments: Course distances changed with no notice(750 swim instead of 600, 13 mile bike instead of 14), stopped cars on the course, no sign at the last bike turn (ended up in a parking lot), promised post-race food was gone, and NO final time posted due to a computer error. Definitely not the best run tri.
