Pre-race routine:

I decided that I would not do the entire race since hills are really killing this pregnant girl. I thought I'd at least do the swim and then wait for Brett to finish the race.

Woke up to 40 degree temps and a howling wind! Yikes! I really don't want to swim in this!!!

I didn't want to do the whole triathlon due the hill on this bike course. Hills have been killing me since I got pregnant.

I jumped into the run when a bunch of people had come back on the bike. I wore my bib number so they knew I was part of the race. I walked through all three aid stations. I had a great run, albeit, slower than my usual run pace. Oh well. I can work on getting faster after having the baby.

This is a fun race and low key race. It does not have chip timing so the cost can be kept low and attainable for just about anyone.
