Try to stay in the shade and wait for the race to start.
Event warmup:

I did a little jog about 15 minutes before the start. Nothing much, I was already very warmed up from the weather.

Comments:

Since this was a reverse triathlon, the swim was tough, since it was my last event I was really hurting. I put everything I had into the run and bike.
What would you do differently?:

I am not really sure. Probably just be in better shape.

Comments:

The bike went great. I felt a little week on the start of the bike since it was following the run. I just pushed as hard as I could on the first lap to try to gap the guys behind me and it worked.
What would you do differently?:

Not almost pull in and do a 360 in the middle of the road after lap 2. LOL I thought I saw one guy pull in and it made me want to pull in too, even though I was pretty sure I had ony done 2 laps and not 3.

The run was very tough in the heat. I just kept pushing it as hard as I could and just prayed I wouldn't pass out.
What would you do differently?:

For running in this type of heat I would probably bring my fuel belt to have water at my disposal.
