Running for a BT'er who passed away. I didn't know her at all, except in passing. But once it was posted that she was having health problems, I went back and read her blog. And over the last week or so, it's become evident that she was very well-liked around here; she was making jokes in her blog up until the end. So sad. I didn't know her, and I feel kinda bad that I didn't know her, so I don't feel like I really 'should' have run for her yesterday. But I guess it's like voting - you may not think your vote really matters, but every little bit helps. BT has been great this past week in showing support for her. I know if something like this were to happen to anyone else on the site (god forbid, even me), the reaction would be the same.

Course: Did my usual 3 mile section of the W&OD (pretty flat) with a teeny bit more tacked onto both ends - judging by pacing and time, I think it came out around 3.1, possibly a bit more, so I would have made it under 30 minutes regardless.
