Comments: Next to no current this year but definitely felt it in 2006 What would you do differently?: Have to get better breathing, spotting going Transition 1
Comments: Transition times was added into the bike..so going to estimate 2 minutes...though might have been a bit shorter What would you do differently?: Want to practice leaving shoes clipped in and riding out with feet on shoes...a faster transition never hurts Bike
Comments: Decent ride...aerodrink bottle was splashing everywhere...have to get that down better...definitely hung out on the aerobars What would you do differently?: Push-pump harder Transition 2
Comments: Transition time mixed in with run time...so taking out a minute for this transition...was a decent transition...at least I don't waste time to drink during transitions anymore...just get it on the bike Run
Comments: SLOWEST run...or rather jog/walk ever...I was so knackered for this run...and I really felt it frmo the wakling around for hours that I did the day before after a long bike...bad idea...but wow, I couldn't keep a pace or even keep running...it was bad...and SO slow Post race
Warm down: walked around...drank lots...and ate so much...they had yummy bagels What limited your ability to perform faster: Was really tried from long bike/walk day before Event comments: Despite how tired I was and a really awful run...I was first in my age group...minus one elite racer who was not considered for awards in the age group...so couldn't believe it...was first in my age group for first time ever...even though wasn't my best race...I was hanging on to being first! had toast with peanut butter and then begged for a banana at the triathlon (which were for after the race and I got one)
I got in and swam around some...then was silly enough to be coralled with the international distance competitors...and I wondered why I had a different color cap! hehe
