Event warmup:

Rode my Bike to Transition and did a couple of quick strides. The ride to the start was longer than the race.

The Swim time includes running up the beach and Transition 1. The mats started the Bike Time. The swim was short, I was out of the water before the next wave went off (less than 3 mins). Second out of the water in my wave

A fun little course as we did three, two miles loops. You would hammer and slam on the breaks for a hairpin turn. 5 Hairpin turns really hurt the average mph.

Event comments:

This was the first leg of the Triple Challenge, I enjoyed this race more than the Sprint and Olympic on Sunday. Happy to finish Top 15 overall.
