This was rough. The water felt very cold after cycling and it hit me hard. I never really did catch my breath but I made and that's what counts right?
What would you do differently?:

Train more for cold water when already being hot from riding.

First leg: Felt great! Really pedaled hard and fast. Nearly 18mph average, way above my normal.

Third leg: Start was tough after the swim but after that felt pretty good. Slowed down but maintained enough to average 15.5 mph over the two legs. Passed people on the uphills, overtaking 3 of my discipline competitors.
What would you do differently?:

Go out a little slower for the first leg, I caused a side stitch due to breathing issues.
